A partial account
Beautiful improbabilities.
A partial account. The rest is not for the internet.
Most of the beautiful things in my life began as improbabilities.
I did my tour in the ivory tower. I learned the languages of power.
Then I climbed out the window after curfew.
By day I build illusions. By night, I sometimes become one...
My life is already saturated with art, spectacle, and intrigue. Every so often, two strangers recognize something impossible to name. The room changes. Time becomes strangely elastic.
Who I notice
I notice those who are difficult to surprise.
Who've learned that intelligence without humor becomes a prison.
Those who have nothing to prove, understand discretion, and can still be surprised.
